What could have been considered to be a rather 'trivial' box-room with relatively simple and linear shapes and sizes has now been turned into something completely different in order to satisfy the needs of its owners: The extension work carried out on this villa, located in a small decentralised area near town, along with the carefully chosen colours, decorations and materials all contributed into turning its interiors into a rather inviting and elegant space.
In order to satisfy the needs of a large family the construction plan was focused on enlarging the main body of the place, by building a concrete and brick structure in order to create these extra spaces: cooking-dining area and the sleeping area. The architectural project was therefore principally concentrated on modifying and giving more value to its outer framework.
Thanks to the size of the spaces made available - and the pleasant natural light flowing in from these large windows thereby connecting the outdoors with the indoors, through the choice of artificial lights both carefully selected and strategically positioned to enhance the space effect, along with the wall decoration finishing, with the choice of materials, finishing, fabrics and drapery - it was therefore possible to transform this house into something rather tasteful and stylish is an almost princely manner.
The end project resulted in an extremely refined and elegant property.
